Seth-14 months

Seth turned 14 months old last week on the 18th, when I took these pictures. I'm going to try and take pictures of him every 2 months now and do updates on what all he is doing so that I can remember how much he is growing and changing!

*He loves to smile with his whole face as you can see by the picture above.
*He is wearing size 3 diapers and some 12 month or mostly 18 month clothes
*He is standing some all by himself and walks around holding onto things but not alone-yet!

*He drinks whole milk out of a sippy cup 3-4 times a day and usually eats 3 solid meals a day too. He loves just about any foods you give him and eats well! His favorites are probably bananas and bagels and he still gets one baby food with cereal at night that he loves.
*He has 4 teeth and at least 2 more coming in right now. He is getting a teethy grin:)

*He still sleeps all night in his bed and naps twice a day. He likes to be rocked to sleep-usually by me:)
*He is also a big climber and gets up on all kinds of things somehow. He will not stay seated when he eats and usually escapes a buckle, especially at a restaurant. We had to take his seat off of our kitchen counter because we were afraid he would fall!

*He says Daaaa almost all day long and a few other words that sound like Bye, Ella, and a few times Momma.
*He waves bye and loves to give high fives, especially to his Daddy.
*He loves to play with any ball and loves to be outside when it isn't too cold.
*He loves all of his riding toys and loves to ride them all over the house and gets on them and off of them alone. He also gets up and down our stairs really well!
*He loves his pacifier and usually has one strapped to his shirt or in his mouth. It's a good thing too bc he likes to scream just like his sisters did, especially when he wants something or they take something away from him. It's tough to eat out right now with him, but we still manage to do it some!

*He is a pretty laid back, sweet baby who loves to play, especially with his sisters. They really love him too! He's growing up too fast and I am enjoying each day!

School Christmas Parties

Sophie's Preschool Party was last week. She had a fun party with a nice Brunch. I was able to spend the whole morning with her which was great.

They all sang us some cute Christmas songs!

They even used bells while singing Jingle Bells!

There was a visit from Santa!

She even asked Santa for a Purple Dog-hopefully she doesn't remember that request! (I think that she said it after another kid requested one and she hasn't mentioned it since.)

I love her little look on her face in this picture! They all sat in a circle and waited to sit on Santa's lap. They also listened to a sweet Nativity Story-I love that they teach the kids the true meaning of Christmas!! I only wish they did that in ALL schools but that will have to be our job as parents.

Ella had a Christmas party this week in school too! When I arrived she had this little wild-eyed look. She had lots of sugar and fun on her last day of school.

She worked hard on her Ice Cream cone tree.

Then had fun eating it. She had her hair cut recently too-she wanted it short like Sophie's!

Memphis Marathon

Tadd ran in the Memphis Marathon on Dec 3rd with his Brother Josh. They completed the half Marathon- it was 13 miles-whoo! We all went up to Memphis for the weekend and stayed with Josh and Sarah and had a good time.

We went on a carriage ride through downtown and the girls loved it-Seth too!

Ella's Activities

Ella has been playing Basketball this Fall for the first time! They are a beginning team with lots to learn but they are fun to watch and all having a good time!

She is working on dribbling,

Ella was also in her School Play in November.

She had a lead role as "Mama Bear" She did great with all of her lines and we were SO proud of her!!

She loves first grade and school. She is doing great and growing up too fast!

Christmas Concerts

The girls had their Christmas Choir Concerts at Church this month. They each sang several cute songs with their groups and did great. This was Sophie's first year to sing with her 3 year old group, she was a little shy but did good singing!

This was Ella's group on stage in big Church. The 1st through 5th grades did a good, long performance on a Sunday night that was great. There were several songs that they all knew well. I didn't get many good close ups and I'm not good at uploading videos but here is a shot of them in action while singing.

We took LOTS of pictures of the kids one Sunday after Church in their matching Christmas clothes. These are the only cute ones where they were even looking. We will probably try again though.

Christmas Cooking-We have had some fun cooking some Christmas goodies lately and plan to do a lot more this weekend!

Ella's tree-it's new this year and I let her decorate it with Sophie after I did the mesh! She loves it! (I forgot to take pics of Sophies tree-Ella's old ones.)

Seth's little sock monkey tree is new this year too! I wanted to do it last year but didn't get time. This year I found lots of cheap, cute little ornaments at Cracker Barrel.

Preschool Turkeys

Sophie had her Thanksgiving Preschool Party last month and they had a great time! They dressed as Pilgrims and Indians and had a Thanksgiving Feast. My favorite part was when they sang songs. "Hello Mr Turkey how are You?" is still a regular song at our house. Sophie's favorite part was her Daddy getting to come to her party!!

This picture shows her little personality change while at Preschool-it is so funny to us that while at Preschool she is very quite and even shy. Well anyone who knows her well knows that Sophie is anything but shy! She talks non-stop from sun up to sun down!! It is such a change that when she is being too loud we tell her to use her Preschool voice-ha!

Seth-12 months

Our sweet baby boy turned 12 months old on the 18th!! He is getting to be such a cute little boy! He looks so big to me in these pictures!

*Weight/Length-we go to the Dr this week for his one year check-up
*He is crawling quickly and pulling up everywhere. He's pretty good at walking around furniture or behind things but he has No real interest in walking alone yet.
*Says a few words such as Da Da, Bye, what sounds like Ella, and get. He points at things that he wants and kind of grunts saying a form of look or get.

*His tubes seemed to have worked and he hasn't had any ear infections since-although he still pulls at his ears a lot but I think it's just a habit.
*He loves to gut giggle and laugh-mostly at his sisters.
*He follows them around and likes to play ball or catch with them. They are so sweet with him!!

*He still only has 2 teeth.
*He is down to nursing only twice a day now and takes whole milk in a sippy cup the other 2 times. He is a great eater and will eat just about anything you give him. Some of his favorites are bananas, strawberries, turkey, cheese, bagels, green beans...

I can't believe that he is already one and I am trying to enjoy every minute of it-even his cute little fits to be held! He is such a sweet and fun baby. We all love him so much!

Pumpkin Party-Seth's 1st Birthday

We had a fun little 1st Birthday Party for Seth. We had a Pumpkin themed Fall party with Chili, Hot Dogs, Fruit Kabobs, and lots of cake, cupcakes and cookies. We were going to have a little hay ride for the kids and roast hot dogs and s'mores but the rain stopped that. After several pictures with Seth inside a large Pumpkin, Tadd made his cute little invitation!

Happy Halloween

We had a fun and busy Halloween this year!! We are slowly recovering from all of the Fun activities and too much candy! I'm just now going through all of the pictures and finally updating the Blog. We had a Big Sunday School party at our house on Friday night with lots of kids and adults-it was fun but with hosting I forgot to take any pictures. Then on Saturday we went to Spook City. On Sunday night we had the Harvest Carnival for kids at our Church. Then Monday was Halloween and Tuesday was Tadd's Birthday. It was a long and fun-filled weekend and week!!

My sweet little Monkey for Halloween! Seth dressed up a few times for Halloween this year! He is quite a little climber and was a Monkey this year for Halloween! For the most part he did pretty well and didn't mind wearing his costume. I'm sure he will love all the candy next year like the girls always do! This year he had fun playing and even tried a Diet Coke:)

Seth-11 months

Our sweet Baby Boy is already 11 months old today!! I can't believe next month he will be one!! I better start planning his little Birthday party soon!

*He just loves to smile and laugh all the time as you can tell by these pictures.
*He really loves to laugh and play with his sisters the most lately and is interacting more with them each day!
*He is such a sweet and happy baby boy even with his little ear troubles!
*This month he had tubes put in his ears. He did great and I'm really hoping they helped even if he still tugs at his ears-maybe it's just a habit now!

*He is very mobile and crawls and pulls up everywhere constantly.
*He loves food and eats just about anything that you give him! He eats a banana and toast most mornings, lunch foods, veggies or soup at dinner, and fruits and cereal before bed. He still nurses 3-4 times a day for now.

I sure hope this month will slow down but no matter how big he gets he will always be our baby boy!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday with Coach and Gram. It was nice and warm outside and the kids had a great time!! I even captured a few good pictures with all 3 of them looking-that's tough to do!

Fall Fest

A few weeks ago Ella's school had their Fall Fest. The kids dress up and attend a Carnival with booths and Blow up Bounce Houses. They have a lot of fun!! Here are a few pictures I took from that night.

Since the Fall Fest was so early we had to come up with the girls costumes pretty early this year. For now Ella wore her Grease outfit from the Talent Show last year and Sophie wore Ella's old baby Jaguar Halloween costume from Diego!

Since the Fall Fest-We ALL 4 had a stomach bug while Tadd had to be out of town all week for work-ugh! We barely made it through that long week! Then he came home and a day later Seth had tubes put in his ears. Then Tadd had a brief round of the bug too. It's been a busy time for us around here-and the Laundry room!!

Seth-10 months

Our sweet boy is already 10 months old. (A few weeks ago actually but I did take these pictures that day) He really looks older to me in these pictures and I just wish that this time would stop going so fast! I just love my babies!

*Weight: 22 pounds
*Wears 12 month clothes and size 3 diapers
*Nurses 4 times and eats some baby foods but mostly finger foods such as bananas, green beans, carrots, or basically anything we put in front of him! He's a great eater!

*Poor thing has recently had his 6th ear infection and has been on 3 antibiotics just this month! (may be one reason for my lack of blog posts)
*We have an appointment with an ENT tomorrow to discuss tubes
*He has still been pretty sweet for the most part and I think this last ear infection is mostly gone finally!

*He is crawling ALL over the place!! He really likes to follow me or his sisters around.
*He is pulling up a lot but not standing or walking at all yet-not a problem for me, crawling is busy enough!

*He didn't feel great in these pictures but he still loves to smile, laugh, and babble a lot-his favorite thing to say is still da da.
*He is a very sweet and loved baby!
I can't believe he is almost one!

Sophie's School

Sophie started 3 year old Preschool last week! She loves it and was so excited to get to go to school like Ella. These are some pics from her first day and Open House.

She goes to School two mornings a week at our Church where Ella went and has the same great teach, Mrs. Helen. She is already singing songs, learning new things, and saying the sweetest prayers since being there. She is so excited when she gets to go and asks to go every day, I am so glad that she is happy there.

She has been wearing her back pack around since Ella started school ready to go to "Peee-school"

*Bad Blogger-so I'm not even sure if anyone still reads this blog but here is a list of what we have been up to lately (or some of my excuses for not blogging). Ella's school schedule and starting Dance, Sophie starting Preschool, Seth is crawling everywhere and had a cold-that he shared with us- and a double ear infection, 2 very part-time jobs being busier than usual, getting back into Fall Wednesday night Church and Bible Studies, Tadd working non stop on a big project in the back yard-I may blog on that later! (Oh and I finally started Facebook-ha and then found Pinterest-when will I ever sleep!)

Seth-9 months

Our sweet baby boy is 9 months old already!!

*Weighs probably about 21 pounds
*Wears size 3 diapers and mostly 12 mos clothes
*He still nurses 5 times a day and eats baby food and finger foods 2-3 times a day-He's a really good eater!!

*He laughs all the time and loves playing with his sisters
*He sleeps all night in his bed
*He is very close to crawling and usually can get to things by scooting around and reaching for them. He's basically mobile without actually crawling yet. He goes from laying down to sitting up all by himself.

*He loves to be outside and play in the water!
*He has his first tooth coming in on the bottom

*He does the sweetest thing when I put him down in his bed, he holds my hand and puts it next to his cheek like don't go Mom:)
*He has a very sweet laugh and even snorts when he laughs sometimes or gets hungry!

We love you so much Seth!!

Ella's 1st Day of 1st Grade

Ella started the 1st grade today! Our Summer went by too fast! She was excited to start her new year and loves School and being with her friends!!

Sophie's Summer

Sophie's Summer pictures from my iphone! Several of these pictures have funny stories to them from our funny child who keeps us laughing!!

The Spring started with Sophie giving herself the mullet haircut. Here is a shot of her posing for a picture when I was trying to learn how to fix her hair when it was SO short!

This was a picture from our family Beach trip in May. We were not even out of Benton yet and Sophie had her life jacket on and was READY to go swimming. She rode most of the way there with her life jacket on or close by:)

This shot was from the Beach trip too where she helped me finish off my Snickers apple from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory-yumm!!

Fell asleep on her Daddy after swimming at the Beach and shopping-she had literally fallen asleep on his lap in the middle of Dinner and never woke back up!

Bed Head! When she goes through my pictures on my phone (almost daily) she asks me "Why is Sophie mad?" when she looks at this one-it's funny!

We have had a lot of watermelon this Summer!

This is how she insisted on going up to the pool one day this Summer-in last years cover up and rain boots. There were a few laughs at the pool on this day and my response was "I have to pick my battles with her-and this one was not worth fighting!

A trip to the Library to start the Summer Reading Program-she loved getting to do this like her big sister! She is so excited about starting 3 year old Preschool this year!!

This pic was from the long drive home from the Girls Beach trip in July. She would get mad and cover up with a Beach hat so we couldn't see her (what is it about kids that think we cant see or hear them when they hide there eyes-too funny!) She rode home for about an hour with her head and faced covered with the hat!

This picture is SO Sophie- most mornings she comes in my room after she wakes up FULLY dressed! She thought that she needed knee socks on, this little girl has quite the personality!
I love that I have a camera phone and can capture all of these funny memories with our silly little girl-there are many more not included too!

Ella Summer

Another big event for Ella this Summer was losing her first tooth! It was really exciting for her and the tooth fairy came and brought her $3, she is such a big girl now:)

Ella went to Super Kids at Church on Thursdays 5 times this Summer and had fun doing fun activities with kids her age. (Her friend Brooks rode with us one day.)

School supply shopping with me at Target! I gave in and let her get a Justin Beiber folder since I made her get the cuter back pack instead of a Justin Beiber one. She is all set for school and I can't believe she will be in 1st grade soon!! I text Tadd this pic and told him she is a first grader going on 16 and that we were in trouble-ha! She also picked out a lot of purple things with sparkles, which I know my Mom is up in Heaven laughing about-she always told me those were my favorites! Ella seems to be my mini-me at times. I have loved having her home with us all Summer and I'm not ready for her to go back to school yet:( or the early mornings!!

Here are some MORE pictures of us all dressed up in our black and whites on our family Beach Trip! (I am going to see Gabby this week because she has been sick and she asked me to bring her some pictures from our trip so I ordered some of these that my cousin sent me!) Cinderella, Cinderella

Last Sunday Gram and I took the kids to see our little local play, Cinderella. Gabby saw an article in the Democrat about the play and sent it to me to let me know about it-she thought the girls would really like it. It was cute and the girls had fun dressing up in their Cinderella dresses (although they didn't stay on for the whole play!) The girls liked it and were pretty good for the long play, including 2 intermissions! I was glad Gram went to help me with all 3 of them:) Here are a few pictures Tadd took right before we went...

I joked that Seth needed a crown or something:) He will have plenty of guy things like ballgames to go to with Tadd later but until he complains he's stuck with some girlie things for a while!

Seth-8 Months

I say it every month but I cannot believe that my baby boy is already 8 months old! It is going by way to fast!! He is so sweet and happy and we are having a fun Summer with both of his big sisters home every day!

*He weighs 20.8 pounds and continues to be a good eater and a growing boy.
*He nurses 5 times a day and gets solids twice a day usually at 5 and 8.
*He doesn't have any teeth yet (normal for my kids) but he likes to eat crackers, cheerios, and the occasional french fry!
*He sits up all the time now and I recently put his swing and bouncey seat upstairs which of course made me sad that one more baby stage was over already.

*He loves the water and has enjoyed the pools and the Beach this Summer!
*He's a great sleeper still and naps 2-3 times a day and sleeps all night in his bed.
*He loves to pull hair and gets a hold of mine or his sisters hair daily.

*He laughs all the time and has the cutest little gut giggle.
*He is starting to scoot around to reach a toy when he is sitting up.
*He babbles a lot and loves to say da da!!

He doesn't really want to crawl or stand up for now which is fine with me! He does have a lot of weight to hold up:) He had a little ear infection this month for the first time but it didn't last too long!

We stood him up next to his ottoman/glider and he quickly fell down after a few shots!

He is quite the little Momma's boy and I love it!

He loves to be tickled and laughs a lot!

Girls in Gulf Shores

We had our yearly Girls Beach Trip last week! It was a busy, fun trip with 3 adults and 9 kids. All of us who went were the girls in the family, except for Seth. We had a great time but unfortunately Gabby and Ginger were unable to make it because Gabby hasn't been feeling well:( They insisted that we go and have a good time, even without them. We sure wish they could have gone, the 2 of them and my Mom would have really completed the fun trip, they were all very missed!

My 3 Beach Babies

The girls had such a good time playing in the waves, building sand castles, and in the pools! Sophie is already swimming like a fish. They also had a lazy river and a big blue curvy water slide that they had a blast on!! We ate some good food out a few nights but the kid to adult ratio kept us in the Condo a few more nights!

Seth did good too and had fun sitting up in the sand and in the zero-entry pool splashing and playing in the water. He only had one head dive into the sand:(

These were my ONLY good pictures from the whole trip. My camera lens broke and it would never focus and take the pictures. My cousin should be emailing me some from her camera so we will see if there are any good ones from hers. I also didn't get the chance to take as many pictures as usual because Tadd wasn't with us for this trip and I was a little busy taking care of the kids to be the photographer-ha!

Seth is 7 months old today! It just keeps going by faster and he just keeps getting sweeter. Here are his 7 months pics and his updates on new things he is doing!

*This month he is sitting up by himself. (mostly on softer surfaces in case he falls over or one of his sisters helps him over while they play)
* He is eating veggie baby foods that we make for him and likes green beans the most.
*He still nurses 5 times a day and has cereal once and veggies once.
* Sleeps all night and naps 3 times a day.

*He really likes swimming and playing with his sisters!
*He likes pulling hair and earrings.
*He likes playing with toys and grabbing onto things, he gets a little upset if you take something away.

*He started waving Hi a little this week, you can almost see him doing it in this picture below!
*He likes to babble and "talk" more. His favorite is Da Da of course!
*He rolls all over the place.

*He is a happy and good baby who is VERY loved by us all!!

Seth Swimming

Seth didn't "swim" any at the Beach this year because the pools were a little cold for him and really the weather was so nice he never was hot enough to need to get in. Well that's not the case anymore with our Hot and Humid Arkansas weather we are having already. It's been pretty hot when the girls have wanted to go swimming so Seth has needed to get in the pools to cool off. He likes the water but he does not like the heat. Here are a few of the pics I have taken of him and his first little swims!!

Ella had her big Kindergarten graduation yesterday. She was so excited about it. They wore a cap and gown, and were given their Diplomas and everything. It was pretty cute! They all sang a few songs and had a small little program for all the parents and family. It was a fun day so now our Summer has really started!! We LOVED her teacher and she had a really good year and learned so much. We were very proud of her this year! I can't believe she will be in first grade next year.

It's hard to believe that my Ella is already 6 years old!! It sounds so much older than 5 did! She is also graduating from Kindergarten tomorrow and is so excited about her busy, fun week with her Birthday, Graduation, and her party-it's almost too much excitement for her! It seems like more of my time on the blog has been focused on Seth or Sophie, probably because they are home more with me, so I am going to use this post to talk about my BIG girl. I also went through some older pictures of her to blog since I wasn't blogging when she was a baby. (They are all out of order though.)

Ella is so sweet and the BEST big sister! I can't wait to have her home with me ALL Summer! She will be such a big help and even though it will be busier entertaining all 3 of them, I know it will be lots of fun! She puts up with Sophie so well and is hardly ever mean to her. If Sophie tries to tell me that Ella hit her, I know it's not true because I don't think she has a mean bone in her body! She loves to play with Seth and make him laugh!

Ella at 6 months old-this was the earliest picture I could find on our hard drive today. I'm glad I used to print ALL her pictures and have 4 photo albums from her first 3 years. This blog is my new photo album/scrapbook and I can barely keep up with it! We called her our little orange baby because she LOVED orange food (carrots, sweet potatoes...) She was such a sweet and happy baby too!

Seeing these pictures from this Beach trip was a tough one for me because my Mom was so sick and we almost didn't make the trip! She insisted that we go despite the fact that she was in the hospital, Gabby and Ginger came down to be with her. I was taking care of her in our house and never really wanted to leave her. She lived with us for about 9 months and went to Heaven at the end of the Summer. She LOVED Ella so much and I am so glad she was able to live with us and spend so much time with her!! Ella still talks about her Me Me living here every now and then.

Ella is my sensitive and sweet child who always wants to do well! She had a great year in school this year and is already reading small books! I remember asking her Preschool teachers to let me hold her back so she could stay home with me since she had a Summer Birthday and they said No! They were right, she was SO ready and loves school.

Ella is VERY social and likes to play with friends at every chance she gets. She loves to play outside and has made several neighborhood friends that she wants to play with all the time! She likes to swim, play softball, take dance or gymnastics and loves to watch cartoons or TV. She loves to be busy! She will be at one activity and ask me what she gets to do next. I know my Mom is laughing at this because she used to tell me that I did the same thing!!

I took popsicles up to her class today for her Birthday! She was so excited. She can't wait for her graduation tomorrow and Birthday Party this weekend!! We love you so much Ella Faith!!

On our last day of Vacation we woke up a little earlier and asked the girls what they wanted to do on their last day at the Beach. They quickly answered, "Dolphin Show" so we rushed around to get ready and went to the Gulfarium close to our Condo for the morning shows. They both love going every Summer and even remember the Dolphins names from year to year. We had a great time and actually learned something while on Vacation, which made me feel a little better about Ella missing a whole week of school!

Seth-6 Months

Our sweet baby boy is 6 months old today!! We are at the Beach this week-just the 5 of us! We are having a great time and having Seth with us this year makes it busy and so much fun! (It's much better than the nausea and sickness I had last year at the Beach when I was pregnant with him.) Here are his 6 month pictures from the Beach, with his stickers but without his rocker and sock monkey.

Six month stat update- At his 6 month Dr appt Seth weighed 18 pounds and 14 ounces (75%) and was 27.25 inches long and his head was 18.25 inches. He is a big and healthy baby!!
*weight-17.5 pounds last month We have his 6 month appt. next week when we get home, but probably atleast 18 lbs. by now. Length-?
*Wears size 6-12 month or 9 month clothes, size 3 diapers
*Nurses 5 times a day and gets cereal at night, probably starting some veggies next week!
*Sleeps all night in his bed and takes at least 3 naps a day

*Smiles and laughs ALL the time
*Babbles, says da da the most
*Still spits up a lot but maybe that will get better as he sits up more and gets more solids soon
*loves to be outside and loves being at the Beach (like his Mommy!)

*He's such a happy, sweet baby! (We have had several comments from others this week that he is so happy and they ask if he ever cries or fusses-not much!)

He is having fun at the Beach and being outside so much!! It's a little cooler than usual this week and the pool water is colder than normal so he hasn't been in the pool yet!

I love this sweet face and we feel so blessed to have him! He is starting to get a little bit of hair and it looks like it may be darker than the girls but we will see... I say this every month but I cannot believe he is already 6 months old!!

He sat up for most of these pictures but with the help of a little sand to support him.

He eventually grabbed handfuls of sand and of course tried to put it in his mouth.

Fishin Fun

Last weekend Coach and Gram took the girls fishing! They bought them Princess fishing poles and took them to catch some fish. The girls have been wanting to fish for a while. They had a great time and caught several fish! Thanks Coach and Gram for the fun day!!

Then they took them home with them after a long, messy day and let them dye Easter Eggs! (and eat Candy) They had a great time!!

Strange title for a post I know... My sweet, second born, daughter and middle child decided to give herself a big time mullet hair cut this week!! She brought a stool into the kitchen, climbed onto it, opened a drawer finding a hidden pair of scissors in the back and just started cutting away, but only on the sides. (I was distracted by her baby brother at the time.) Anyway, after (many) tears, a small amount of raised voices, ok yelling, a small spanking, time out, and eventually laughter I was convinced by my Aunt and several others to post pictures because they reminded me that one day I will laugh at this even more. (Gabby even told me that Mom had cut her hair once when she was little too-must be the second daughter thing-ha!) Ok so here go the aweful pictures that I may threaten to put in her Senior slide show one day!!

The Salon where we all get our hair cut is closed on Mondays so we had to wait until Tuesday to get her in to fix the damage. In the mean time, Tadd, who thought it was all really funny started calling her "Billy Ray" (Cyrus) After a few times I started laughing too... My response was A little dramatic, I know, but this little girl was bald for almost two years and could never really wear hair bows!

Jessica who cut her hair, and made it as cute as she could, even said it was one of the worst little self cuts she had seen. (It was cut above her ears on both sides and very uneven, I'm not sure the pictures even do it justice.) She said it was a good thing that Sophie was so cute!!

Ella said that "she looks like a boy." Tadd and I agree that it is never a cut we would have given her, but it is growing on us (no pun intended).

This is one busy, strong willed, little girl lately-as you can tell by this look on her face! The scissors are now put up even higher and I can barely reach them now. I realize that it is JUST hair and it will grow back, eventually! She even put most of the hair she had cut in a plastic sandwich bag before I found her-saving it for her baby book I guess! It could have even been worse and this long post has even been a little therapeutic to write-ha!

We will be wearing lots of pink for a little while and hair bows!! We love you, Sophie Sue!!

We made more Easter cookies to help ride out one of the many storms this week! I'm glad we are all safe and healthy!! We are blessed!

Oh and Ella slammed her finger in the bathroom door at school last week and should be missing a fingernail any day now! I am starting to realize that things are going to stay busy and dramatic around here! We love our crazy life!

We had a big ol Easter Egg hunt in the front yard on Sunday after lunch. The chase was on with the girls for the eggs this year! They had a great time running around and finding all the eggs. I can only imagine how fun it will be with Seth on the hunt next year! We try to focus on the real reason we celebrate Easter and the true meaning behind it. We did take the kids to see the movie Hop, which was pretty cute! They both love candy and stayed on a sugar high all day. Pics from the fun...

Easter 2011

We had a great Easter Sunday! We went to Church service, then kept the babies during 2nd service. We had a great lunch and Easter Egg Hunt after Church as well. Easter can be emotional for me because of what we celebrate and the hope we have in Jesus and his resurrection. Although Easter is tough without my parents, it is so good to remember that because of his death on the cross for our sins we will be able to be with them again one day in Heaven!! My sweet Baby Boy is 5 months old already.

*weight-16 pounds at his 4 month check-up
*wears size 6 mos or 6-12 mos clothes, size 2 diapers
*Nurses 5 times a day He still prefers to nurse but he has taken a few bottles when I have had appointments! (He tried to nurse the monkey in the picture below-ha!)

*Sleeps ALL night in his Bed and naps several times a day
*Still spits up but he's happy and healthy, it may be improving-a little!
*He started eating a little cereal with a spoon this week, he likes it.
*He is starting to babble things that may sound like da-da,it's precious

*He smiles and laughs all the time, he is a very happy, laid back baby
*He reaches for things and holds onto them, he likes to play with toys this month and pull hair! Everything goes straight to his mouth!!
*He found his feet and loves to play with them!

*He holds his head up pretty well and has become a good hip baby
*He loves to be outside and we take walks when we can
*He still likes his bouncey seat, swing, play mat, and now his Bumbo seat and recently his exersaucer. He just rotates around in these things for short times when he's not sleeping, being fed, or held by me:)
*The girls love to play with him and make him laugh!! They are so sweet to him, Sophie and now Ella call him Bubba, Chubba Bubba or Bubby Chubby... (I think it's cute but I promised my Aunt that I would stop it eventually before Preschool or at least before it stuck!)
*We ALL love him so much and cannot imagine not having him in our family to love!!

I can't believe he is already 5 months old. Time please slow down this month! I am not ready for him to grow up and be 6 months old yet! I know it sounds crazy (even to Tadd)but if he keeps growing so fast I'm going to want another one...

Show Stoppers Season 2

We finally began our softball season tonight after two rain outs and one team not showing up... What a difference a year makes! We started out with a WIN! It was such a close, fun game and we won by a point. We had so many girls really hit it tonight! Ella had two good hits that she was so excited about and she even scored twice! I yelled so loud it scared Seth (who was in my lap) until he cried-I'll have to learn to cheer quietly. It should be a fun season to watch and Coach Tadd was excited to have a Win and a good start to the Season!

Ella's Kindergarten class had a field trip to the Zoo last Friday. It was a fun day and I loved spending the day with my big girl and her friends!

Spring Break

Here were some pictures off the camera from Spring Break. While we were in California, the girls were being spoiled by Coach and Gram. (Those pics are all on Grams camera) They had fun at the Zoo, Chuck E Cheese, Larry's Pizza, and four wheeling on their land, and lots more. They jumped from one fun activity to the other the whole time. They had a good time and probably were not ready for us to come back, even though we couldn't wait to see them! The rest of Spring Break we mostly stayed home other than gymnastics, softball practice, and we went to Party Central one day with some friends.

Tadd took off on Friday to hang out with the kids since we were gone part of the time and Ella was out of school. The girls and Tadd "camped out" one night upstairs in their Dora tents. We made smores outside by the fire, watched movies upstairs and ate popcorn. Then they all slept upstairs under their tents-it was cute and I forgot to take any pictures. They had a great time!

A co-worker of Tadd's said he just had to eat here while in California, He did not prepare us for the very interesting show from the homeless man we had while we were eating!!

If you look very closely in between the palm tree and the parking sign you can see the HOLLYWOOD sign-ha. This is as close as we could get because the LA marathon was the next day and they had a lot of the streets closed off for it.

The Hollywood walk of fame or stars?? It was a little cold for Seth so we just drove around Hollywood because there was so much we wanted to see that day!

We spent several hours touring a large Museum called "The Getty" It was really good and the most impressive part to us were the outside views of LA and other surrounding cities.

The Museum was huge and very nice with lots of architectural details, I couldn't really capture it on camera well!

Some of the outside landscape of the Museum was really cool with all of the flowers, waterfalls, and sculptures.

These bushes were surrounded by water and a large rock waterfall, almost made me want to come home and plant some flowers-nah!

Seth-4 months

Seth turned 4 months old while we were in California. (I actually remembered to pack his little stickers but forgot a white onesie they would show up on.) Here are some of his four month shots-at the Beach!

*Weight-? (we go to the Dr next week after Spring Break, so I will update the post later, but he is big:)Update-16 pounds!!
*Height-26 inches
*Wears 3-6 mos clothes and 6-12 month clothes, Size 2 diapers

* He is still sleeping all night in his Bed.
*Nurses 5 times a day (He dropped from 6 to 5 recently)He also will not take a bottle at all right now, I'm going to have to work on this-makes my working some a little tough.
*Still naps several times a day
*Still spits up ALOT but he's happy!

*He laughs ALL the time
*He smiles and coos
*While in Cali we noticed he is very vocal! (Tadd and I said either he was getting louder or we could actually hear him without his big sisters with us!)
*He went to the Church Nursery last week, but only because we were in there keeping the babies-ha! Tadd says he needs to start going soon, but he probably needs to take a bottle first.

*He loves to be outside and we are starting to go on some walks with the warmer weather!!
*He's starting to sit up in the Bumbo seat!
*We all love him so much!! His Big Sisters are just crazy about him!!

He did GREAT on the airplane and our trip, we all had to get readjusted to Arkansas time instead of California time when we came home.

He's such a happy, good baby and we feel so blessed to have him in our family!

10 Years!!!

Thursday March 17,(St Patrick's Day) Tadd and I had our 10th Wedding Anniversary!! We were able to spend it in California this year which was great! Tadd had to be there for work for a few days so Seth and I met him out there and stayed for several more fun-filled days!!

This was our only picture we took together from the trip! I need to find a Wedding picture but I would need to find one to scan because we don't have any digital photos of our Wedding-I guess we are that old:)I'll find some old pics of our Wedding and us dating and do a sappy, love post later-ha!

It could have been worse (No mold or any major damage!!) Just a little inconvenient- but the carpet will be in soon and hopefully his room will be back together before too long!

Ella's Talent Show 2011

Ella and nine of her little Kindergarten friends were in their school Talent Show on Tuesday. They did a dance to Grease Lightening. They wore poodle skirts and "Pink Ladies" Shirts while the boys wore "T-Birds" shirts with rolled up jeans and their hair slicked back and sunglasses. It was really cute and they were the youngest group. They practiced a lot for several weeks after School. They all did a great job!

Three years ago today our sweet Sophie Sue entered our lives. This precious "Big Girl Baby" as she called herself today is something else! I have been going through old photos tonight and remembering lots of memories of our sweet and silly girl.

* You are such a funny little girl and we love you so much!
* You love to eat and your favorites are turkey and cheetos.(A request from Santa for Christmas) You also love chocolate cake and want chocolate cupcakes for your Birthday party.
* You are a great Big Sister and love to help me with your baby brother. You call him "Bubba-Do" and love to try and make him smile and laugh.
* You are very good with electronics and your favorites are the ipad and our iphones. Watching Netflix on them is your latest new hobby. You have even rented movies that have been mailed to us without us knowing.
* You are also a good little sister and love to play with Ella and pester her.
* You love being in Gymnastics and hanging on the bars. Your weekly goal in class is to "listen to your teachers" so you can get a stamp and a piece of candy after class.
* You have been running around all day saying "I'm 3" and holding up 3 fingers. You called yourself my "Birthday Baby Big Girl" all day. We spent your Birthday all day together having lunch with friends and then went out to Copelands for a family Birthday dinner. You wanted to go there because of the Chocolate Cake we had there before and you call it the "Chocolate Face Place."
* You are very excited about your Birthday party this weekend and eating cheese pizza and playing. It's so hard for me to believe my baby girl is already 3, it goes by too fast, but you will always be my baby!!

Seth-3 months

Our sweet boy is 3 months old today. He is growing too fast and this month seemed to fly by. We took his monthly picture today on his rocker next to his little sock monkey. I can never choose just one pose so here are several cute ones.

This month you are:
*Smiling and cooing a lot you have become more expressive. You are also laughing this week, especially when we tickle you, it's precious!
*You are a very sweet and happy baby.
*You are now sleeping ALL night in your bed in your room:) You have been doing this for several weeks now and we are loving it! (Although I do miss you being beside me in your bassinett-you were getting too big for it.)
*You nap several times a day, for now after every time you eat still. You will take naps about anywhere and take a long morning nap one hour after you wake up.
*You are still on a good Babywise schedule of feed, wake, sleep.
*You nurse every 3 hours during the daytime. It is typically around 8,11,2,5,8,11 for your feeding times and you have had 3 bottles now and took them well.
*Your Prevacid for reflux is helping but you still spit up a lot, but are no longer fussy or upset after you eat:)
*Wear size 3-6 month clothes
*Wear size 2 diapers (just now)
*Weigh close to 14 pounds now, not sure about height until your next Drs appt.
*You love your bouncey seat, swing, boppey pillow and bath time. You also like your play gym mat for a little while. You are starting to grab onto things and hold things.
*You move your arms and legs a lot and love to chew on your hands this month!
*You seem to love your big sisters (or tolerate them well). They love to play with you and try to make you laugh. (I wish I had taken monthly pictures and written all of this down with them!)

He has really started laughing more this week. He may have a big gut giggle like both his big sisters did, I love it! I will try to video it and post it later this week, it's so cute!!

He just loves to grin as he looks up at his daddy!

Valentines Day

We had a fun and simple Valentines Day this year! The girls and I woke up to flowers and teddy bears from Tadd. I went to Ella's Valentines Party at her school and enjoyed getting to see my big girl in her classroom with her teacher and her friends. Then we headed to the girls Gymnastics classes while Tadd cooked us a good steak and scallops dinner that we all ate outside next to our new heater and candles. ( My husband is so sweet!) Then I managed to finish off the whole plate of chocolate covered strawberries from Gram-yum! The weather was so nice today! Tadd and I went out to Dinner and a little shopping on Saturday night for our "Date night" despite what Seth's shirt says. We just took this sweet baby boy with us!

Ella is getting so big and smart! I love this picture of her, you can see her little sprinkle of freckles on her face. She is the sweetest big sister and is so patient with Sophie, (who is requiring lots of patience lately) and Seth!! She is a very good child!

I can't believe I didn't get any pictures of Sophie today. This could be because she is going through a phase of wanting to be held a lot. She said some of the cutest, funniest things today though. She called the card that Tadd left out for her this morning her "Happy Valentines Day." She continues to keep us laughing all of the time, I can't believe that she will be 3 soon.

Ella's Haircut

The week before the big snow storm Ella had a big hair cut! I think she had at least 5 inches come off. It was getting pretty long. I think it looks pretty cute and it definitely looks healthier and thicker. We still have enough for a pony tail when softball starts soon. Here are some after, before, and during hair cut pictures. She was really excited to get it cut and has wanted it cut for a while now but I kept putting it off. She is quite the little poser as you can see!

Winter Wonderland

This week we had a big snow storm. It started on Wednesday and snowed all day, close to 8 inches later we were out of school and in the house for the rest of the week! We had a great time mostly staying at home and inside out of the cold. The snow was pretty but the girls usually prefer to stay inside. We played lots of Wii Dance and ate a lot of food and cookies! Here are some of the pictures on Day #3 when we ventured out to sled and attempt a snow man.

Church Luncheon

Each year our Church holds a new Moms Luncheon. Its a fun time for Moms of Babies to get together and have lunch and let the babies play and we get to visit. This is my 3rd time to attend and it is always a good time of food and fellowship. We get the babies together for a group picture. This year it was a group of all boys and Seth was the youngest. Here are some pictures from the Luncheon last Saturday. He is such a sweet baby and I feel very blessed to have him in our family!! I love babies and cherish this sweet time with him and my girls.

Seth-2 months

My sweet baby boy is two months old today! I can't believe it, he's getting big too fast! We had his two month appointment today (with his shots:( and he is doing great and growing fast.

* He is now smiling every day!
* He weighs 12.6 pounds
* He is 23.25 inches long

* He is starting to coo at us some and make a few cute little noises
* He nurses every 3 hours during the day
* He usually only wakes up once a night to eat. He will go 4-5 hours between feedings and has gone 6-7 hours a few times.

* He has some reflux and spits up a lot and fusses some but we just changed his medicine today so hopefully it will help soon!
* He is usually pretty happy and sweet unless his tummy is upset.

* He still wears size 0-3 months clothes but he is growing out of them quickly!
* He still wears size 1 diapers

* He is staying on a pretty good Babywise schedule- feed, wake, sleep!
* He naps several times a day
* He sleeps in his bassinet in our room at night and naps anywhere but we are napping him more in his bed.

* He loves his bouncey seat, swing, and bath time!
* The girls are doing great with him and are very helpful! We all love him so much!

Snow Storm 2011

It started snowing Sunday afternoon and didn't stop for several hours! At least 6 inches later and two days out of school for us! It was so pretty to watch. The girls were so excited and couldn't wait to play out in it. They didn't last very long at all though and it takes a while to get them all bundled up! We have very girly girls who don't like to be wet and cold. They did sled a little with their daddy and some friends but came in very cold and crying. We had a fun two lazy days at home and Tadd was even off from work on Monday with us.

Ella came in after sledding with wet feet despite wearing her layers and rain boots. She was in tears and said that ants were biting her feet, she thought this because her feet were stinging from the cold. It was actually kind of funny that she thought that afterwards.

Everything was covered! I think we had over 6 inches of snow and it snowed more into the night after we took these pictures!

Sweet Seth

With 3 kids my posts and pictures are getting pretty long! So here are a lot of pictures of our sweet boy in some of his cute little hats!! He has a cute football hat that he wore to Church and a cute little Bomber hat that Gabby and Ginger gave him for Christmas. He wore the bomber hat on the snow day with some cute little fur rain/snow boots that matched. I forgot to take a picture of those. He's such a sweet baby who probably gets tired of his picture being taken so much ha! Enjoy

These are just a few of the things that we have been up to lately...
Seth is six weeks old and now smiling and starting to make cute little faces.

He now weighs a big 11.10 lbs., so he is growing and eating well!

We had to start him on some reflux meds this week for his little tummy.

We have been playing lots of Wii.

Sophie, Seth and I went to the Library this week with some friends for story time where she made this cute little polar bear craft. She wanted to pose with it, several times. The Library time was fun and we will have to go back. My Mom is smiling down on us, as the teacher in her has probably wanted me to take the kids to the library for a while now!! (She loved reading and used to take my sisters girls to story time when she could.)

Sophie and I having lots of sweet time together with Seth, now that the Holidays are over and Daddy is back at work and Ella is back to school.

Ella and I trying out some of her new Christmas presents, her Easy Bake Cake Maker. Lets just say I didn't find it so easy with all the fondant icing, etc.

We had fun together trying to make the tiny little bite size cakes look pretty though! She is getting to be such a big, smart girl!!

We did lots of things around the house while Tadd was off! Seth's shelves are finished and decorated in his room.

We watched LOTS of late night movies waiting on Seth's last late night feeding! We also cleaned and organized lots of things after Christmas. (We had like 7 trash bags full of old toys and things from upstairs and everywhere else, have to make room for the new Christmas things to be put up.)

We also painted a wall in our bedroom blue. I spend so much time in there feeding Seth I wanted to brighten it up a little and add some color.

So here is a recap of our past few weeks, mostly for me, so I can remember how we spent this busy time and the end of our Holiday break.

We had a great Christmas full of lots of excitement with 3 busy young kids! We love being with our families. It's still tough without my parents, I always miss them but I know they are celebrating in Heaven with Jesus!! Here are just some of the cute pictures I just went through...

Sophie asked for Santa to bring her Turkey and Cheetos, it was hilarious!! She asked for it for over a month so we happily agreed, we really do feed her, a lot. She was pumped about some cheetos even if we didn't wrap up any turkey for under the tree.

Ella saw her (live) goldfish and pillow pet she asked Santa for first thing when she walked in, I thinks she was just a little excited!! I love that Tadd caught all her excitement on the camera!

Five Sweet Stockings!

Before Santa came and brought the Christmas fun and mess. The girls were so good and fun this year and we thought it was so sweet that they asked for very little, we know the bigger things are coming with age. It will be fun to have some more boy things in the mix next year too!!

Santa (Coach) comes over on Christmas Eve before delivering ALL the other kids presents. He had some extra time for pictures with the kids! The girls love that his beard turns white on Christmas Eve.

Our weekend was full of Christmas Celebrations. Ella's Kindergarten Party, My work party,our Sunday School Party and Ella had two Birthday parties!! We had a busy, fun weekend and here are lots of pictures to document all of our fun!

Ella hung around near Santa for most of the night! She had on her PJs from her previous party that was a Movie/Pajama Party.

Sophie stayed near Santa too until she was offered some of the Happy Birthday Jesus Cake, she won't turn down food, even for Santa!

Each kid from my work lit a candle on the Happy Birthday Jesus Cake, then we sang! I love working for a Christian Agency!

Seth-1 month

My baby boy is one month old today! A friend sent me these cute stickers to put on him each month to take his picture and track his growth. I'm going to try to keep up with what he is doing each month and how much he is growing.

*Weight-not sure but you are growing and we will get your weight at your 2 mth. appt.
*You are nursing every 3 hours in the daytime and wake up about twice at night to eat

*Wears size newborn diapers and newborn clothes, you are in some size 0-3 mos clothes this week
*You are on a pretty good schedule recently and we are doing Babywise again since it worked so well with your big sisters

*You love a bath and will sometimes even fall asleep while you are getting your bath.
*You like your bouncey seat, swing and boppy pillow

*You still take several naps a day
*You sleep anywhere during naps but you sleep in the bassinet by our bed at night

*You spit up a lot after you eat but you are not too fussy and you are gaining weight
*Your big sisters love you so much and so do your Mom and Dad!

We had a little photo shoot recently for our Christmas Cards and Seth's Birth announcement. Actually, it took a few photo shoots where my friend Rachel came over to try and capture a good newborn picture and a good picture of a crazy family of five! (The picture below is a good example of why she had to take so many pictures!) Honestly, we had several cute ones and I was just glad we even had options. Here are a few of the cute pictures that didn't make the card, I will post the ones that did after the cards come in.

Saturday I took Sophie and Seth to Lucy's Birthday party (I forgot to take pictures there) It was fun and Sophie had her face painted. Then we did a little Christmas shopping and then lunch before heading back home.

We had a fun time while Daddy took Ella to do a little Christmas shopping too!

Seth slept through the party, shopping and lunch. Tadd put his little football in the car with him before we left, ha! (He said it was his first Saturday not to watch football on TV for most of the day with Seth) He's a great baby, just fusses a little at night but not for too long.
